Diaper Cover

Crochet Diaper Cover By I'm Hooked! | Free Pattern

Materials:
Red Heart Super Saver or any worsted weight yarn
Crochet Hook Size G (4.00 mm)
Tapestry Needle

Stitch Guide:
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
hdc2tog- half double crochet two together (decrease)
fpdc - front post double crochet
bfdc - back post double crochet

Note: 
Chain 1 doesn't count as stitch throughout the pattern.
Always do the first hdc in the same stitch with the chain 1.

Pattern:

Waist Band

Begin with chain 61 and join with slip stitch to make a ring.

Round 1: chain 1 and hdc in the same stitch. hdc in each remaining chains and join with slip stitch in the top of first hdc. (61 hdc)

Round 2-3: chain 1, hdc in the same stitch and in the next 4 stitches. *fpdc in the next stitch, bpdc in the next stitch* 10 times, and fpdc in the next stitch. hdc in the remaining stitches and join with slip stitch in the top of first hdc. (11 fpdc, 10 bpdc & 40 hdc)

Round 4-5: chain 1 and hdc in the same stitch and hdc in each reamining stitches. Join with slip stitch in the top of the first hdc. (61 hdc) Do not fasten off, continue to the body.

Diaper's Body

Row 1: chain 1 and hdc in the same stitch and hdc in the next 30 stitches. chain 1 and turn.
(31 hdc)

Row 2: hdc2tog, hdc in the next 27 stitches, hdc2tog, chain 1 and turn. (29 hdc)

Row 3: hdc2tog, hdc in the next 25 stitches, hdc2tog, chain 1 and turn. (27 hdc)

Row 4: hdc2tog, hdc in the next 23 stitches, hdc2tog, chain 1 and turn. (25 hdc)

Row 5: hdc2tog, hdc in the next 21 stitches, hdc2tog, chain 1 and turn. (23 hdc)

Row 6: hdc2tog, hdc in the next 19 stitches, hdc2tog, chain 1 and turn. (21 hdc)

Row 7: hdc2tog, hdc in the next 17 stitches, hdc2tog, chain 1 and turn. (19 hdc)

Row 8: hdc2tog, hdc in the next 15 stitches, hdc2tog, chain 1 and turn. (17 hdc)

Row 9: hdc2tog, hdc in the next 13 stitches, hdc2tog, chain 1 and turn. (15 hdc)

Row 10: hdc in the next 6 stitches, hdc2tog, hdc in the next 7 stitches, chain 1 and turn.
(14 hdc)

Row 11-20: hdc in each stitches, chain 1 and turn. (14 hdc)

Row 21: 2 hdc in the first stitch, hdc in the next 12 stitches, 2 hdc in the last stitch, chain 1 and turn (16 hdc)

Row 22: 2 hdc in the first stitch, hdc in the next 14 stitches, 2 hdc in the last stitch, chain 1 and turn (18 hdc)

Row 23: 2 hdc in the first stitch, hdc in the next 16 stitches, 2 hdc in the last stitch, chain 1 and turn (20 hdc)

Row 24: hdc in each stitches and fasten off and leave long tail for sewing. (20 hdc)

sew in front of the waist band with whip stitch and leaving 5 free stitches in both sides.

Legs Opening

Round 1: sc in each row and in between the rows and in the 5 free stitches (53 sc)

Round 2: *fpdc in the next stitch, bpdc in the next stitch* around the opening and fasten off.

Finishing

Weave all the ends.
